Peter was born in Rochester, Kent, UK and attended Huddersfield University and Trinity College of Music. He moved to Hong Kong in 2001 466929_345651385490023_1490643782_oand is currently a music specialist teacher at The Australian International School Hong Kong. Being deeply passionate about music education, Peter is concerned about the way forward in music teaching in today’s society. Although, by no means an expert with technology, he is fascinated with the way that it impacts on life today, especially in the classroom setting.

Peter has taught in the UK, Philippines and Hong Kong. Originally an organist with a deep love of sacred music, especially J.S. Bach and the music of the Anglican Church, but with little time for practice these days or availability of convenient instruments he has started to learn the piano accordion, which at least can be kept at home!
